Start things off with a glass of complimentary prosecco, chocolate and maybe even a bit of dancing as you enjoy the swinging gypsy jazz tunes of the band Espresso in the Longmont Museum’s Swan Atrium.

Then, step into the Stewart Auditorium for “Almost, Maine”—set on a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter in a town that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. In a series of playful and surreal vignettes, relationships end, begin or change beyond recognition, as strangers become friends, friends become lovers, and lovers turn into strangers. Propelled by the mystical energy of the Northern Lights and populated with characters who are humorous, thoughtful and sincere, “Almost, Maine” is a series of loosely connected tales about love, each with a compelling couple at its center and each with its own touch of magic.
